ABSENCES:
Parents can fill out absences for classes through our parent portal. Once signed in, click on three lines in upper right hand corner to open drop-down list and select absences & makeups. This can be done in advance, as well as day of.

  • Young Dancers

    Young Dancers classes build a foundation for future classes by developing coordination and nurturing a love of movement in an age appropriate class environment.

  • Ballet

    Ballet is form of dance that was born in the Italian Renaissance. With a French vocabulary, this highly technical form of dance has been globally influential and is the basis for the technique of many other dance forms. Ballet offers dancers the ability to build a strong groundwork for their training. Our ballet teachers are certified in the American Ballet Theatre National Training Curriculum.

  • Pre-Pointe / Pointe

    Dancers who have taken ballet for several years and are placed in levels 4 and up may be recommended to take pre-pointe and eventually placed en pointe by their instructor. Pre-pointe and pointe will help dancers to build strength and alignment, further refining their ballet skills. These classes are by placement only.

  • Contemporary

    Contemporary is a style of expressive and dynamic dance that combines elements of several dance genres including modern, jazz, contemporary, & ballet.

  • Lyrical

    Lyrical is a fusion of ballet, contemporary, & jazz dance techniques that uses dramatic motion to interpret music and express emotion.

  • Jazz

    Jazz is a high-energy style of dance that is structured in technique and relays a sense of individuality and entertainment to the audience. It can be performed to a vast variety of music from Broadway to pop.

  • Leaps & Turns

    Leaps & turns is a class that works on flexibility, alignment, and technical skills including kicks, turns, jumps, and more. This is a great class to accompany jazz, contemporary, and lyrical, as it helps to lay a foundation for correct technique.

  • Hip Hop

    Hip hop is an upbeat style of dance performed to popular music that is common in the entertainment world. Hip hop is a fusion of styles, incorporating jazz roots into a melting pot of break, popping, and locking along with other fashionable dance genre.

  • Acro

    Acro is a fusion of dance technique and the athleticism of acrobatic elements. Acro dancers learn to seamlessly blend musicality, emotional expression, line, and extension with acrobatic movements in a dance context. Acro technique includes balancing, limbering, tumbling, and partnering based in flexibility, contortion, and strength. Our acro teachers are certified in Acrobatic Arts.

  • Tap

    Tap is a form of dance characterized by using the sounds of tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. Students learn in a fun environment where noise is encouraged. The core of the class will focus on the development of basic technical skills and the ability to understand music.

  • Drill Essentials

    This class works on dancing in unison and other technical skills that would be required for dancing on a drill team.
